I am constantly amazed at the creativity of people, using material that would otherwise be thrown on the garbage (or perhaps already has been) to make useful items, that they (or you) would probably not want to part with - because they are so useful and because they created them. This storage unit, from reryclart.org is a good example. This looks fairly simple, so if you are looking for a large amount of storage space at minimum cost, this is it: Here is an interesting offer - for creating 3D art - very much worth checking out if you want to create something spectacular, and are fairly new to the game:
A practical and very pretty idea:
Old Internetters and Bloggers probably know all about what WOT is, but for newer sites and surfers this may not be so obvious. Quite simply put, WOT is your Traffic Light of the Web. It lets you know at a glance the quality of the site you are about to visit in terms of:
TRUSTWORTHINESS VENDOR RELIABILITY PRIVACY CHILD SAFETY The ratings are color coded as follows: GREEN SHADES - Good to Excellent YELLOW - Unsatisfactory ORANGE & RED - POOR TO VERY POOR BLANK - As yet unknown The ratings are user ratings - which is why it is important to take the time to rate sites using the WOT tool. The WOT Sign is a ring at the top of your browser which changes color as you surf different websites. The Firefox Browser has the additional feature of a popup warning screen when you are about to visit a site with a REALY bad reputation on all counts. It takes between 3 to 5 minutes to download and install this feature - but it's really worth it and saves much crying and irritation later, when you have already picked up a virus or got into some other kind of trouble with untrustworthy vendors, and so on. Now, here's the thing: If you want visitor's to YOUR site to trust what you have to say and to trust the links that you provide to other sites, you need to have an easy way of checking those links - THAT'S WOT! WOT I am saying, is that it's not enough to have a site with a good reputation - CHECK YOUR LINKS (and sometimes even the links of the links)- and be well and happy WOTTING! Here is a novel use for a few plastic bottles - something most people could manage to accomplish:
Step-by-step instructions - even I could understand them - to building a wooden cabin - that cant be very expensive at all. For a do-it-yourselfer, this is marvelous - and the website itself is worth bookmarking:
